Bar Crawl

Yesterday I went and rescued Bram and his wife from San Francisco. We escaped the heat through the Central Valley, but looks like this heat wave is here to stay for the next couple of days. 

Finally Broke

Most of you are probably looking at this and thinking, "what the fuck is he talking about?" 

So back in 2012, on my first trip to Europe on this bike, while in Holland, Beer and Wicky took me to the Zuiderzee Museum. Basically Holland as it was 100 years ago. They were making their own rope there, and I grabbed some and made a stop for my clutch lever. This piece of rope outlasted a lot of steel parts on this machine!

And when I returned to Europe in 2014 with this bike and rope, both Wicky and Beer laughed at that piece of rope, until I told them that it was authentic Dutch history! Ha. Then of course they thought it was cool. 

So who knows how many miles, rainstorms, border crossings and gas stops this thing has seen since it first got attached.

Blog Hiatus

Work, life, fücking hot weather and work have prevented any fun from happening lately. Finally a little light at the end of the tunnel, weather has cooled off a bit and the road to Belden is getting close. 

All shirt orders from the past two weeks went out today. Thanks again to everyone for their continued support!

Once Aaron fixed his broken throttle cable, we headed west in the cool of the morning. Made it to Santa Cruz by lunch time and were able to relax while the show filled up.

Got home from Santa Cruz to see this mother fucker. This is a new fire called the Twist Fire.

And this is a photo from a totally different fire on Saturday. Similar location to the twist fire, but separate and was put out on the same day. Something is starting to sound like arson if you ask me.

This Weekend!

Redwood Rumble is happening this weekend in Santa Cruz. For everyone else who doesn't live on the coast, and has been living through this fucking heat wave we have had all summer, the weather for SC is 70F! Enough said.
