Highway to Nowhere

Hopefully a fucked coil. Started to rain on me, and then I caused a huge traffic jam on the freeway, so they towed me to a BMW shop, for free! Either way, Beer and Fred are on their way to pick me up. I'll try to get to Luxembourg in the morning.

UPDATE: After running points for the last 5 years on this bike, I finally switched over to elctronic ignition, just for this trip! Well I will be putting points back in, first thing in the morning. Its good to be back in Holland again, actually I never crossed the border. Beer and Fred picked me up with a trunk filled with beers, and we swapped stories from the road the entire ride back to Opmeer. Another great ride!

A Couple from the Road

Back in Holland after spending the last 10 days on the road. Great trip, with good food, lots of drinks, really nice bikes and great people. We saw the sun once, but all in all, we would do it again in a second.
Big thanks to everyone along the road.

Long Day Monday

11 1/2 hours later, Beer and Wicky of the Rogues MC guided me into town. Been hanging out here in Opmeer, NL for the last couple of days, and leaving for France tomorrow morning.

100% chance of rain today

 The bike is all together, weather is of course shit for the day. I was able to go out the other day for a quick blast up the street and back before all the parts were in. Fuck it was nice.

Heading out for the Netherlands and France monday. Meet up with some of the Rogues MC, then out to the coast.

The last of the parts should be here today or tomorrow, and then its finally on the road. Filing for a fucking insurance claim on this whole thing is becoming quite a pain in the ass. They have no problem taking your money, but they can't even send me the right fucking form to start the claim!

FINALLY!!!

Its here in my hands! It took a bunch of calls, emails and more phone calls, but it got delivered today. The ladies at the tax import place had never seen anything like it before. Even they were taking pictures of it. Only problem, some shit got broke on the trip over. Figures, the first thing I do with my bike in Europe, is fix it. At this point, I don't even care, just glad to see it!
