Missing my bike already!!!

The crate was almost the easy part. We've been getting all of our paperwork for customs and import ready for when they land in Europe. We've got our route pretty much set, with friends and parties lined up across the continent. Looking forward to the trip!

Bikes have been delivered, and will be loaded up next week, heading first south, then through the Panama Canal, before heading back up and across the Atlantic. Won't see them for almost 7 more weeks! Fuck

Final Prep

We got the box over to Brian's shop, and begin to tear down the bikes and load them up into the crate for the moment of truth!

Loaded up our tools, parts, rain suits (fuck!), and packs, and then put the sides and top on. Won't see them for another 7 weeks or so.

Building the Box

Everything seemed so far away, but as we started looking at dates, talking with the shipping company, and pulling our heads out of our asses, we realized time is of the essence. 

I finally got my bike going only three weeks ago, and have been putting miles on it ever since. The last oil changes, new tires, packing tools and spare parts is only the beginning of the long list we have to check off before we head out. 

The box is almost done, and Wolf and I will be driving them to the bay Friday morning to be dropped off. It's happening!

Camping on a lake in France on Friday, and then riding back into Luxembourg to finish off the party at the clubhouse. Sounds like a fucking good time!

The extended forecast has spring like conditions posted: upper to mid 70F's! So much for getting out of this drought. 

Everybody's bikes have seem to come out of the hibernation state they were in over the winter. Lots of wrenching going on at the shop, and now lots of riding.

Jamestown Swap Meet

Rode down to Jamestown last weekend, sold some shirts, parts, and enjoyed the sun.
