A couple friends of Spade George's threw him a suprise party and presented him with a plane ticket and some spending cash, for a trip back east. George hadn't been back there to see his old stomping grounds in awhile, and they were able to time the trip around a couple party's too.
We were lucky enough to be able to donate and get down there to see him before he left.
A shot of Spade George from back in the day. Solid dude
Ivar and Robert from Rabalder MC in Tønsburg Norway, visited us the other day on their way to the coast. They've been traveling through the western USA, and did the mandatory stop in Sonora. Unfortunately we didn't know they were in town until the morning they had to leave (thanks Wolf!), but never the less, we got to catch up, show them the clubhouse, and give them a couple places to visit on the way to Santa Cruz.
Once they arrived in Santa Cruz, our prospect Josh hooked up with them and showed them a couple places. Great having you guys here. See you soon!
Yesterday afternoon I was able to tear the heads off the shovel, and after a quick inspection, things looked a little bit better than first expected. The culprit for my smoke and oil burning was actually a bad head gasket.
I called Pat and headed up to his shop for a second opinion.
Just looks goofy
"Hey Pat. Did you see that there's a fire across the road from your shop?"
Fire season isn't quite over yet...
Cool knuckle getting some work at Pats. Owner was up in Groveland for the annual vintage meet.
OK, we are finally back to normal after the last couple of weekends on the road, and the online store is back open. The one thing you will find that is new, is the Golden Chain Run shirts. These are the same ones we had for sale up there in Belden, and if you missed your chance during the ride, or just want one for yourself, they're for sale. Not sure if this will be reprinted again, so get 'em while they're in stock! Another badass design by Mitch Cotie. More of his stuff HERE
Check out the shirts HERE!!!
