Germany Bound

The reality of the trip had arrived as we packed our bags for being on the road for the next 3 months. It has been over a year of planning, phone calls, emails and excitement, and it's finally here!
The three of us jumped on the road heading south to Eindhoven to meet our friends from Belgium. We of course showed up late, due to some battery cable issues on the road. Hank, Gilles and Michel we're waiting for us at the Esso station, and we headed east to our final for the weekend: Herten and the KKF show.
Great weekend and weather. Thanks again Draggers for the hospitality. Great seeing everyone again.

Finally!!!

Everything showed up as planned, minus a strange fee we all had to pay at the shippers. Mother fuckers.
Customs went by without a hitch and actually ran into a Japanese couple that is riding around the world for the second time! First time took two years and they did it on a Honda 250!
Got the bikes unloaded at Micks house, put back together in no time, and looks like we'll be on schedule for Germany and the KKF show tomorrow! See you guys in Eindhoven tomorrow for gas!

Last Couple of Days

We of course have been waiting on word from the shipping company that our bikes are ready and waiting for us in Rotterdam. We should finally be hearing those exact words either tomorrow morning or Thursday, but in the meantime we have been busy riding around on a couple of Beers bikes, hanging out with the Rogues, and touring all over Holland.
The weather has held out for us too. Sunny and 70F, with rain some in the future (of course!) and hopefully we will be in Germany by this weekend!
