Southern California probably missed him last weekend, but he rode into Long Beach under the radar after church last friday to visit some friends, then rode all the way back to Sonora solo. So we headed down to So Cal in the truck to pick up the newest project for the shop.
The scene of the crime: this is pretty much the exact spot in which my motor blew up a month ago headed to the Born Free show on the 405! Could not find any left over pieces...

Got the bike loaded up, quick bite to eat at the local taqueria, hugs goodbye, and then the 8hr drive home. Thanks for holding the bike Craze, we'll post progress pictures as they come in.

Went to Hollister to look at a bike. Turned out to be crap. Forgot to mention the cracked cases before we left, $1500 to weld up.

Motor Work

After not talking to my bike for that past couple weeks, I finally got to work.

Run it! Pat up there at Pat's Machine Shop, has the motor and a set of cases that we are going to use the bottoms out of and weld the damn things up. Thanks Bacon for being on the search for cases for me!
