If you're heading south on 49 for the Swap Meet...

... Be aware of a slight detour around downtown. I'm pretty sure this will happen just after Tuttletown, and will direct you onto Rawhide rd, which is an awesome stretch of freshly paved curves and hills, that will dump you onto highway 108, in Jamestown. 

From there head past Sonora on 108 and follow the signs from the highway. 

As long as the cops don't rip them down!

SWAP MEET prep

Oakland Swap Meet

Hauled ass down to Oakland the other day for an early morning swap meet. Sold some shirts, drank some beer, and got to hang out for awhile before the reality of our drive back home set in. Always a good time, thanks for the hospitality!

Visitor

Jimmy Monk stopped by Sonora the other day on his way up 49. Threw together an impromptu BBQ, drank some beers and swapped stories of the road. Good to see you Jimmy, catch you next time. Maybe in Europe!

A Couple From a Couple Weeks Ago

Didn't need much of an excuse, with 70F degree weather, to head up hwy 49 to escort Gus into town for the weekend. Great ride. Always good to be on the bikes again. 

It's always funny when someone runs out of gas.
