'67 Progress

Waiting on parts to come in, but was able to get a little more done in the meantime. I bought an old flat bottom GME tank on eBay the other day, and was able to get it mounted before I took it up to Estes to look at some paint ideas.

Updates

From Jeremiah at Love Cycles: Robert is showing signs of lots of progress. His long term memory is coming back and his short term memory is also making lots of improvement. And the latest word is he should be back home by Christmas.

The last we heard about Nick is that he has finally been moved out of ICU, and into a normal room. They did another MRI and discovered that he has a fractured neck, but thankfully no nerve damage. Still waiting to hear about another surgery in regards to the fracture.

The plan was to head down to this on friday, but mother nature has a different plan for those of us living in northern California. Forecast: rain, wind gusts up to 70mph, and low snow levels in the mountains. Damn! Next year might be better...

Fuck Stupid People!

Its times like these when you wish we lived in a land where when stupid people on their cell phones, or drunk drivers, run over a person on a motorcycle, we chopped off one of their hands to prevent another act of stupidity. But we don't. The one thing we can do is donate to help out the victims of these pieces of shit.
We've met Robert several times, all over the place, riding his badass long chop. He was run over the other night and is currently in an induced coma. His first surgery was a success, but is nowhere close to the end yet. Click HERE to help out in anyway possible.

While doing some research on Robert's unfortunate wreck, I stumbled across another chopper rider who was taken out by a drunk driver in southern California. I've never met Nick before, but the story goes, he resurrected this old Denvers chopper recently, and was hit by a drunk driver a week ago. Like Robert, he is in an induced coma, and has a long list of injuries. If you have the means, help these guys out. Click HERE to help Nick out.

Day 3

A little hungover, but not complaining with the weather, we all headed north back up highway 49. Another great ride, in the California winter sun!

Day 2

We hit the road saturday morning with 80F+ weather. No one had more than a T shirt on for the remainder of the trip south. A quick stop in Oakhurst for supplies, and we were pulling into North Fork 30 mins later.
