Bretagne 2014

We have spent the last five days in Brittany drinking, eating, riding, talking shit, laying in the sun, and catching up with friends. Unlike two years ago, this year we had excellent weather, with all the rain falling while we slept off the night before.
Once again Marco, Yvon and the Chopperkingz have put on quite the party, with people riding (everyone rode there!) from all over France and Holland, to enjoy a weekend of great times.
Thanks again for everything, Brittany remains at the top of my list of places to escape too! Don't tell anyone

Last Couple of Days

France has been calling, and we planned on taking the next couple of days to be tourists and ride the choppers west, checking out some sights along the way.

Welcome to France: truck wheel rolling down the highway. We ended up passing the truck about 5 minutes later! Fucking guy had no clue.

First bit of rain.

WTF!?!

Oh good, it's only Wolf and his buddies

Most of Normandy was gearing up for the 70th anniversary, and was filled with all kinds of old restored WWII vehicles blasting around the farmland. A really cool thing to see.

We approached the cometary from the east, so you couldn't see any names on the stones. But as we walked around, names, units, date of KIA, and birth state became visible. It was almost impossible to stop reading the names of each marker. A very real perspective into something that we never experienced.

Finally in Clécy, waiting on the rest of the pack to show up tomorrow night (tonight now)

Flanders Chopper Bash

You know it's a good party when we all look like we got run over by a truck come Sunday (some of us looked like that Saturday!).
There was really good weather and people from all over, which made this a great little party, with a ton of rad bikes.
We picked up Mick on the way back to Brugge, and will be heading to France in the morning. The plan is to be back in Bretagne by the end of the week!
